  1. Physical and armed protection
  2. Relocation; change of identity, or
  3. Any other measure necessary to ensure the safety of a protected person.

Protection can also be done during court proceedings through:

  1. Holding in “camera” or closed sessions
  2. Use of pseudonyms
  3. Redaction of identifying information
  4. Use of video link, or
  5. Employing measures to obscure or distort the identity of the witness.
